Visited the club again to see how things are going. Still 5 star but Lila seems busy. She is the bartender and the waitress. I wish they had minestrone soup. It's an Italian restaurant.

Yes. A few original San Francisco neighborhood places still exist! ! Giant portions, low prices... everyone at the bar knows each other. Come out for some old school dining and local ambience. Dances and bands on some Fridays.... Cioppino specials other nites.
Overheard at the table behind us, "There aren't any old school Italian places left in the city...North Beach is gone"
Come experience old SF... don't expect fancy... settle in for a slow friendly evening. -

I'm so disappointed I went to my favorite place to get chicken Parmesan and I got there at approximately 5:15 pm and the cook wasn't even there yet nowhere to be found , but the waitress apologized and she was very sweet and accommodating. She didn't know what to say and she was terribly sorry, so she treated me very well but still is very disappointing to know that I had to wait for the cook when he should of honestly already been there. It was during the mid day, that is a result of going to have customers angry food customers, but hands down the waitress was very sweet which made me not walk out .

Love it here! We just held our 35th wedding anniversary in the beautiful grand ballroom upstairs. The food was simply delicious. We had tri tip in wine sauce well-seasoned and very tender. The pesto pasta was so good even our picky 8-year old granddaughter loved it. Lastly, the petrale sole which I especially liked was so fresh! Nice crust on top but so flakey and buttery it melted in your mouth. The manager, Julie, is delightfully friendly, helpful and professional, a dream to work with. Apparently, she's also a very talented chef. My husband went looking for her to ask for assistance and he found her in the kitchen cooking our meals for the evening! The staff and bartenders were excellent, friendly and helpful. We had about 120 guests and the evening went off without a hitch. Wonderful place to hold your special event. I highly recommend this venue.

This is an awesome wedding venue for the couple seeking a reasonably priced hall with great staff and food. My husband and I are that couple. We had a budget in mind, with a requirement to stay within the San Francisco perimeter. This pushed us out of the Presidio, Russian Hill, Nob Hill, and the likes, and into the Excelsior neighborhood, when we found this gem. We were underwhelmed when we parked outside of the venue. However, we were convinced when we met with Julie, and had a tour of the space that this would be a great reception hall for us and our guests. We loved the vibe, and the convenience of our guests to be in SF without downtown traffic. A small parking lot is also available for vendors and others who may require space. IASC caters, provide tables, a bar, linens and can accommodate a large party. I would recommend that if the couple requires a specific style, and plans to have many vendors they should contract a coordinator and consider renting linens. We didn't, but would I would recommend. Either way, talk to Julie who manages the space, and she can set you up.
